FST ERHI V-A filter elements Hiross

Type ERHI filter elements of filtration grades V, ZF, XF and A are filter elements suitable for Hiross filter housings. 

Type ERHI filter elements of filtration grade V (coarse filter) consist of a pleated coarse filter media, filter elements of filtration grades ZF and XF (coalescing filters) of a pleated double layer depth filter/drainage media and a separated external drainage sock.
 
Thanks to the pleating technology the effective filter surface is increased many times, resulting in a higher dirt holding capacity and a longer ser-vice life. At the same time flow resistance and differential pressure, gen-erated by the filter element are considerably reduced. Due to the sepa-ration of the two function units, filtration and drainage, which are both fundamental for a coalescing filter element, the function of the remaining layer is guaranteed even if one filter layer breaks.

Filter elements of filtration grade A (adsorption filter) comprise a special filter media consisting of loose activated carbon granulate embedded in two coarse filter layers which reliably prevent activated carbon dust from leaving the filter element. Using loose activated carbon granulate results in, for filter elements, an averagely large amount of activated carbon (1.2 kg of activated carbon for each m² of filter surface) and therefore a longer lifetime on the one hand and in a more positive differential pressure on the other hand. The 3-layer design of the filter medium contributes to an adequate thickness of the activated carbon bed and thus to a contact time between compressed air and activated carbon, which is long when considering filter elements. 

This results in an extremely low residual oil content.
